It's been happening to me every time I've posted today. But I just wait and let it load on its own. I don't get any double posts that way, but it still marks the thread as if there are unread posts in it.
EDIT - Ironically I didn't get any error message when posting this

I don't seem to be suffering from it. So perhaps Ronald fixed the bug.
Which, he steered clear from this thread. I do hope it wasn't the same for all the message boards connected to this one, and that he must have gotten a flood of complaints. Poor Ronald.
