				| Jup, computers are a pain, sometimes. But this HP is a good one. Also a well known company which uses quality parts, in my opinion. A few bucks more, and you have a more reliable system. I always go with quality rather than cheap price.
On that note..... since day one I had trouble with my sound, on my now 8 month old system. Put in a separate sound card, much better.

Hope this one is a keeper

The media center part of the PC, has all your media sorted in one place. Like your music and videos you save to your pc. It also has a big games section
But my favourite is that you can watch TV on it, and also record, and rewind live tv. You can also pick up local radio stations etc So its like Storage, Tv, DVD player, and Recorder all in one place. Im loving it!

This is how it looks like, the list also go's down with more options too!

				| That sounds like a hacked xbox, Martina. I've read online how linux geeks are hacking xboxes and making them pvr/game/video/audio boxes. Are all the files stored in 1 directory? _________________

The mediacenter takes your files of your personal folders like My Music, My Pictures, My Videos.

Xboxes can indeed be turned into cool mediacenters. You can even build in a harddisk and store your games on them. Still you can't play Mariocart on them!
