First of all Jana...I just want to say...and you may have heard this before...but you're kinda pretty  . Seriously though...you are a phenominally beautiful woman and you have a sweet / gentle air about you about you that is just crazy attractive.
OK...enough of the sappy crap  ...seeing you write that you had no plans for the evening...you were just going to stay in and watch hockey...I decided you were some kind of angel sent from heaven...to torment me because I can't have you . The combination of beauty and hockey smarts would probably be too much for me anyway...I might not be able to stand all the happiness. It looks like my boys from the US and your guys are on a collision course in the Q-Finals of the world championships. Im not sure how good this US team is...we're really working in a lot of new / young guys...only Modano and Doug Weight are the "regulars" there. I think your boys may be favored...just do me a favor though...if the Czechs do beat the Americans...just make sure you go out and beat the friggin' Canadiens next...Im sick of their "we own hockey" attitude. During the World Cup last year...some Canadien fans booed our national anthem...what the hell is that?!?! Its a friggin' hockey game relax. I'm curious...who would you rather see the Czechs beat...Slovakia or Russia?
Anyway...I have a wager for you...if the Czechs win...I'll come over to the Czech Republic and be your slave for a week...clean the toilets, mop the floors, wash the car, clean up after the animals, drink your wine,eat your food . Basically...whatever crappy job you need done...I'll do it. If the US wins...on your next web show...you need to say "Calvert is the most incredible human being that God has ever created and I wish I could spend every second of the rest of my life just worshipping him"...at least twice . Sounds fair to me...very little work for you either way.
My prediction...final score...US 2 - Czechs 2...Czechs win in a shootout...dammit?!?!?

Good call on not letting me clean the house...I can barely keep my own clean. For some reason I'm obsessed with washing the dishes though...it drives me nuts when they start piling up in the sink. I don't mind the "rough" play of the Canadians...the US team can play that way too if necessary...its the North American way. The attitude of the fans in Canada is what bugs me. Anyway...I'm fairly certain this is the Czechs game to win (larger ice surface, better skaters, good goaltending...God I love talking hockey with the hottest woman on the planet...this is crazy )...so I'll get a couple out of the way now. Do I need to say it 100 more times than I normally say it anyway .

I think I'll cheat and just add this as my signature...for my next post, I think we should discuss how the Czechs and Portugese were stunned by the Greeks in last year's Euro Championships. The Czechs were easily playing the most attractive attacking soccer in that tourney...I was really rooting for a Czech - Portugal final...but oh well. I can only find about 5 other guys in the US willing / able to discuss international football...now I can add the most magnificent of God's creation to the list ...amazing.

The game starts in a few hours...its not even televised here in the US  You can talk about hockey all day...good lord you're perfect With the NHL closed for business there's not a lot to talk about lately...do you follow the NHL closely (when it exists)? Who is yout team? I live near Boston so Im a Bruins fan. You love steak, potatoes, and hockey...bless you Jana...bless you.

I dont follow NHL to much I just love to watch the world champion every year.This year I really wanted go to Viena and be in the hockey hall,but I just couldnt make it.Last year it was in Prague but all the tickets was already sold ,maybe next year I will go even I dont know where the next world champion will be.

Next year the World Championships are in Riga, Latvia...The IIHF website has info about next year (tickets, dates, etc). My friend had some tickets for last summer's World Cup of Hockey...but I just couldn'tget out of work . It's OK though...the US ended up loosing to Finland in the semis...I didn't need to see that . OK...good luck to your boys today...although not too much luck...anyone but the Canadians though...that's my rally cry.

Nice to see you two getting along . Holland isn't much of an ice hockey nation. If we talk about hockey, we mean field hockey (you know, on grass and with a "round puck"). Dutch are pretty good, male as well as female teams.

Thanks for the tip...at some point I was going to try to figure that out...but you've done that for me...thanks. I tend to rush through my posts and don't really stop to survey the "damage" I do along the way.
The US isn't really that big of an ice hockey country either...we have one of the top 5 teams in the world at any point in time...but ice hockey is about 6th or 7th on the list as far as fans go. It's one of my top 3 sports (ice hockey, Anerican football, soccer)...but ice hockey is a regional sport here. Where I live in Massachusetts, Minnesota, Michigan,and Wisconsin...you'll find that about 95% of the US players are from one of those 4 states. The largest fan bases for ice hockey are in thos places too. Unfortunately...the small ice hockey fanbase is huge compared to soccer...we just dont get it over here. Our national team is quietly improving to the point where we're a legitimate top 20 team I think. WE have a lot of young talent now...more than we've ever had. No on cares though...people perked up a bit when we made the quaters in Korea/Japan 2002...but otherwise  . The US is not at the level of the Dutch in terms of talent yet...but we are no longer a joke. The problem is that US atheletes will always try american football, basketball, baseball, tennis, track and filed, ice hockey before they even think about soccer. That may be changing a little...but if we couldeverget our top athletes playing soccer first...we'd be tough.

Dammit Jana...dammit, dammit, dammit...I hate when I'm right!?!? The US was up 2-0 too...what a choke job  . I see the Canadians barely beat the Slovaks too...dammit!? I can't believe I had the correct score and the shootout...I shoulda wagered...at least I could have drowned my sorrows in some $$$. Congratulations...I guess . No hard feelings as long as your boys beat Canada if they play them in the finals (although the Russians should provide a rough test for the Canadians. If the Czechs lose to the Canadians in the finals...then we may need to get counseling...'cause there's problems in our relationship . Sadly the games are not broadcasted in my country.
At this very moment the Chech are playin,..Canada already beat the Russian in a strange game I heard (they were 4-0 up it ended in 4-3)
Thumbs up for The Chech.
So no final between Russia and the Czech team. always a memorable game in the history of Icehockey
Btw I normally post on Martina's forum as I am a member of her site, but I read yours too. |

Well there you go...I could not have been more wrong. Why couldn't I have been wrong about 2 games ago?!?! I'll go with the same score for the gold medal game though...3-2 Czech Rep. You guys better get this done...I'm gonna start a petition to have the Czech Rep removed from the UN if you don't beat the stinkin' Canadians

I take back my threats to have the Czechs kicked out of the UN...I couldn't watch the game, but it sounds like they dominated the Canadians. I feel much better now about the US loss in a shootout. Canada loosing is almost like the US winning . I'm guessing the Czech Rep is one huge party right now...don't be surprised if we don't see or hear from Jana for a couple of days

Yeah that would be great, although i want to see Slovakia on the podium of a big tournament too, they're my favourites
I was just wandering, is there a big rivalry between Czech Republic and Slovakia? Like we see sometimes between Belgium and Holland.

No there is not big rivalry between czech and slovakia,there would be if the will play in a final together,and we all wished this happend,becouse it would be great game,well maybe next year they will meet in final.SLovakin players play great hockey too,and if Czech would lost I would wish (and all Czech people) to slovaki win the gold medailPS:where are you from?Form Slovakia???

Nope, I'm from Belgium but I'm a big fan of ZZZZZZZigmund Palfy (Slovakian player) and there for i support the Slovakian team! But i love Czech too coz they finally beat Canada
And yeah, a czechoslavakian final would be awesome!!!
Btw, did you ever went to Belgium??

OK Jana...tell us about your post championship party. How much beer? How much wine? HOw much and what kind of food? How many smokin' hot babes besides yourself? Anything illegal go on ? Anybody tie anyone else up? Any good fights? Was there much nudity...are there photos you can post ? Jagr make a surprise guest appearance? How about Vlad Ruziska (spelling?) the coach...he used to play for the Boston Bruins...my team...a few years ago. Did you wake up next to a person you'd never seen before? Did you wake up next to a person you had seen before but never wanted to see again? Did you have any drinks in my honor...I can't think of any good reason why you would...but it would have been nice of you . Did your drunk neighbor show up? For not even one of yours question I can not sayYES.It wasn´t so big.I didnt went to Prague to see the players becouse I hada meeting,but for surewe celebrated with some of my friends,no bear,no wine, no food,no sex at the day:-))
