Earthworm Jim was an old cartoon show and video game about an ordinary earthworm who came across a powersuit of extraterestrial origin which, after entering it, gave him inteligence and made him a space hero. Funny show, really.

Ya, most well basicaly all birds do. I don't know the rate of it though. Its there way of regrowing lost feathers back.
