what cliches can you remember?
in movies, books, games or etc.
If you know theres the
"Student and Master cliche"
Karate Kid, Star Wars and etc
but I only know a one that resemble each other alittle
Cowboy Bebob episode "Waltz For Venus"
and ThunderCats (2011) episode "The Duelist and the Drifter"
mostly you here something like this in both of them,
"don't force it, go with the flow" speech
"you'll go off balance if you force it to much, relax and flow with it
like a river or wind" _________________ My Fursona http://forums.pleasurebonbon.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=100410#100410

That's not a cliche, that's sound advice.
boy goes on adventure. boy meets girl. boy falls in love with girl. girl doesn't notice boy. boy saves girl and wins girl's love.
THAT is a cliche.
Hot girl wants A+ on her paper. Hot girl gives teacher sexual pleasure in exchange for A+ on her paper. cliche.
brick falls on toon's head. toon gets stars going around his head. cliche
The world is simply brimming with cliches because almost anything and everything that has been done has been done so many times it has lost any value it once had. A cliche is something that has been repeated to a point where it is both predictable and universally recognisable as that which it is, a cliche.
guy digs a hole in the ground and covers it with leaves to trap a creature... immediately you know that there is a high probability of the guy walking over his own trap and falling into it. That is a cliche.
Now, here's something that's not a cliche.
Guy digs hole in ground for trap. Guy covers trap with leaves. Bear falls in trap. Guy eats well for the next 2 weeks.
Why is it not a cliche? Cos it never fucking happens!
Nothing in Karate Kid or Star Wars is cliched. There are many moments in them that are iconic, but cliched? No. _________________

Well I could call it the "the training cliche"
how about "fat idiot dad" with a "beauty thin wife milf"?
The Simpsons,
Family Guy,
The Amazing World of Gumball.
thats much be a cliche?
or the old couple that is a thin old man, and a fat old wife? _________________ My Fursona http://forums.pleasurebonbon.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=100410#100410

yeah I know a few or alittle whats a "cliche" or a "ironic" thing
like a big beef cake shirtless amazon like warrior with a sword...
that much be a "Ironic", "cliche" and "theme", all rolled up into one.
Heman,
Thundercats,
Conan,
and every dungeon and dragons or fantasy medieval book, cartoon, movie or game.
I think "The Sword" is a cliche
because whats the weapon the hero always get?
a sword. _________________ My Fursona http://forums.pleasurebonbon.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=100410#100410

Irony is a whole different thing. Irony is getting killed by the coffin you are making. Irony is an occurance or moment in time, not a constantly repeated theme. While an ironic occurence can be used to the extent that it becomes a cliche, ironic and cliche are not the same thing.
There's nothing ironic about amazon warrior women. _________________

Irony is something I can relate to.
Irony is like falling on one's own sword. Or the creation destroying the creator, and even more so to hundreds upon thousands of things. _________________

the gender "cliche"
you know alot of movies it's all about men, and theres only one or two
main female characters.
oh i think this is one...
the lone survivor "cliche"
it always one or two people that lived in the end of the film
mostly horror, or action films. _________________ My Fursona http://forums.pleasurebonbon.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=100410#100410

"The Big City" is a cliche if you notice that too
or New York
it's like they try to throw everyone in New York "or the big city"
like everyone lives there
it's like "oh come on! they already got Spider-man, The Ghostbusters, Transformers, The Ninja Turtles, and every Marvel hero, we don't need the F***ing Smurfs to be there too" _________________ My Fursona http://forums.pleasurebonbon.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=100410#100410
