Well- Since the forum is a bit quiet lately, I thought I'd start up some discussions...

Has anybody seen the SciFi TVShow "Who Wants to Be a Super Hero?"

http://www.scifi.com/superhero/

It's rather funny and interesting. At first I thought it'd be stupid but it's interestingly entertaining. And some of the chicks on the show are rather hot.... Seeing Lemuria running around with her boobies bouncing around reminded me of WonderWoman... Refreshing to see...

The first challenging I thought was rather creative.

The super heroes had to wear their regular street clothes and then find a place to change into their costume as quickly as possible without anybody seeing them and race to the finish line.... With a little twist before the finish line...

I'm curious to see what other challenges await them and who the winner ends up being....

For me, SciFi is a basic channel. Personally, I think Iron Enforcer will be next to go and I pick Feedback to win, if not make it to the final three. To bad Stan didn't go with the chick who knew martial arts but fought while distracting her foes by fighting topless. Wonder how wide his eyes got behind those shades of his when she lost the top.

I was wondering the same thing too... I mean come on he created Stripperella... Can't be that bad.

I think Major Victory will be the winner. or CellPhone Girl.

Actually- the FULL episode of Episode 1 is available for free on SciFi channel right now.

I heard the SciFi channel has some 'location/country blocks....
So some people might not be able to view it, depending on where you live.

Major Victory? Even with that lame catchphrase and dancing? I suppose. He did actually help the girl.

*SPOILERS FOR EPISODE 2!*

If you haven't seen it and want to be surprised, stop reading!

Holy plot twists, Batman! I guess I was half right about the elimination, but I definitely wasn't expecting Stan's new plan for Iron Enforcer. I must admit though, I think the show's going to get even better now.

Poor Cell Phone Girl. Would've loved to have seen her new costume. Speaking of which, I have to agree with Ty'veculus, I don't know what Stan was thinking with his new suit. The old one was much better. The only thing that could've saved the new costume was the old helmet. The new one was too small, though shaving the fan was a step in the right direction. Can't wait until next week to see what Dark Enforcer does.

I think the whole point of the Ty'veulus and his new lame costume was to see if people were going to make fun of him and all and his honesty test.

And of course it's all through the magic of "Video Editting" that they took away all the other chatters.... And isolate on Ty'veulus's costume thing.

Too bad they didnt keep CellPhone girl. The promo website costume they had for her was totally different. My guess is she returns somehow.

Stan seems to like to use Hot Pink colors in alot of the costumes for these girls, whats up with that... ugh.

I kind of like that Lemuria's old costume where her boobs were popping out more. Twisted Evil

**SPOILER**

After having read your post and then watching the episode (saw the rebroadcast this morning) can't wait to see what they do with Iron Enforcer. I was confused with your posting and the elimination thing but it all made sense now. It was an interesting twist.

Can't wait to see what they do next week.

Man... I'm a little disappointed with Stan Lee and his choices of elimination and his lame reasons for why some of the heroes should be on the chopping block....

The whole "a Super Hero never takes his cape off for any reason" was just crap.... I think Major Victory did fine taking his cape off for the old woman to cross.

And Fat Momma... omg.... that last episode was just totally bogus.... She failed the competition in the hunt for Dark Iron enforcer. She took 55 minutes!! And not only that she was taking other people's food... I mean talk about rude and unpolite.

I'm not gonna be watching the last episode... I'll just read about it....

What did you think of the show so far HSHP?

Actually, after Ty'veculus was eliminated (which I still consider the only real surprise elimination), I thought Fat Momma would be eliminated next. Especially after that "revenge for Ty'veculus" speech at the end of the episode. Unfortunately, I haven't been as interested in the show as I was before that and found myself fast forewarding through parts of the last couple shows. I agree with you on Stan's reasoning on Major Vitctory though. He complains about the cape, but how many times have we seen Superman, one of Stan's examples, take off his cape to wrap someone up in it or, back when it used to be as indestructable as him, an explosive device to keep it from harming anyone.

As for the humor bit, I don't know if I'd go so far as to call Victory a parody of superheroes, but he definitely seemed like he should have been a more serious type of character (i.e. a Superman type) but played it too goofy. I knew he wasn't as serious as he should've been back on the first episode when he did that silly dance during the race. He seemed more "Mystery Men" than "Justice League". Though if Victory's sense of humor was Stan's biggest problem, then why did he ever make Spider-Man, a superhero who uses jokes and levity during most of his crime fighting?

I'll watch the last episode, just because I've gotten this far, but I don't see Fat Momma walking away with the win here. We'll see what Stan has cooked up for the finale. Now here's a question. Will anyone watch the Sci-Fi movie special that they make based on the character that wins? I probably will just to see how bad it is. I don't know if I should say that. I might end up just taping it and let it sit forever like I have with "Android Apocalypse" so far.

I have a feeling that Fat Mamma is going to be the winner just because they think that's good for Television 'surprise twist crap....

I read somewhere on Creature's personal homepage forum, that you're gonna hate the ending and it will make you want to throw your tv out the window... which leads me to believe they're gonna end up making FatMamma win...

And that is just plain stupidity on the producers part.... (Stan Lee included since he's executive producer).

1. A comic book based on Fat Mamma is not marketable nor will it sell. Her "immortality" will last as probably one issue or two at best because they have it in production... Comic books are produced every day, and it's a dime a dozen to make an issue#1. (More especially, because the way she won was not really 'acceptable'.) The viewer's poll statistically are against her, every week.

2. A movie based on Fat Mamma? Heh... I won't be watching it. I've already seen enough awful sci-fi "originals" to know better... (Savage Plaent for instance) I've been suckered into watching these movies cuz their trailers looked cool, and the premise "seemed" cool.... or it just happened to be the only thing on sci-fi late at night that I decided to stare at while eatting my late dinner.
The fact that I know ahead of time who will be in the movie, I'm not gonna be watching it. I can't stand watching her on the show especially that last episode....

3. I don't have anything against the minority group that she supposely is representing because that's TV- they always have to throw somebody into the mix to make it look like their group is represented... BUT, the fact that she is parading about saying she is proud to be fat and that it's okay to be fat is not something to promote... It should be about trying to better yourself... Its unhealthy, first of all... She is a fake... She's not making an effort to improve herself.... As seen in the last episode, taking other people's food and eatting them while she's on a 'mission' to complete a task, taking her sweet time, when it's a "timed-challenge". She didn't really take the challenge seriously.

Of course- all this is reality tv... which is twisted in the editting process and scripted in some areas.... i guess bad entertainment is good entertainment for some people.

If you don't want spoilers, don't read on.

I like being right. Though I was worried up until Major Victory was eliminated. Maybe Creature thought people would hate it becuase the hottie she liked didn't win? Or that she wasn't back for the finale? It may have been from a distance, but you finally got to see Cell Phone Girl in her new costume. Could've done without those antenae, but I guess it makes sense for her character, even if they're not practical. Definitely wasn't a bad finale after all. Can't wait to see how bad the movie's going to be. I wonder if Feedback will need acting lessons.
